As Calgary gets ready to connect to the South West Ring
Road, ENMAX is preparing its connections as well.
be resuming work on the distribution system from Anderson Road to 146 Avenue
SW. Some construction will start this month with the majority of the work
happening between January to August 2017. The attached project newsletter will
be mailed to residents in the area this week. This work includes:
underground distribution line on the east side of 37 Street SW adjacent to the
community of Woodbine
distribution line at Fish Creek Park that will connect to the existing overhead
distribution on the south side of the park
underground road crossings at 37 Street SW
underground road crossing at Anderson Road SW
underground road crossing at 130 Avenue SW
All construction is
currently staked, so if you are wandering along the pathway you will be able to
see where adjacent work will be performed. A handful of small trees and shrubs
will have to be moved to accommodate this work.
relocating distribution located at all four corners of Glenmore Trail and 37
Street SW starting in December. All work is located within City-owned property
or within the TUC.
