Ward 11 official website
As Calgary gets ready to connect to the South West Ring Road, ENMAX is preparing its connections as well.

ENMAX will be resuming work on the distribution system from Anderson Road to 146 Avenue SW. Some construction will start this month with the majority of the work happening between January to August 2017. The attached project newsletter will be mailed to residents in the area this week. This work includes:

·         an underground distribution line on the east side of 37 Street SW adjacent to the community of Woodbine

·         an overhead distribution line at Fish Creek Park that will connect to the existing overhead distribution on the south side of the park

·         two underground road crossings at 37 Street SW

·         an underground road crossing at Anderson Road SW

·         an underground road crossing at 130 Avenue SW

All construction is currently staked, so if you are wandering along the pathway you will be able to see where adjacent work will be performed. A handful of small trees and shrubs will have to be moved to accommodate this work.

ENMAX is relocating distribution located at all four corners of Glenmore Trail and 37 Street SW starting in December. All work is located within City-owned property or within the TUC.

All current and upcoming ENMAX work related to the ring road is posted on their website: https://www.enmax.com/generation-wires/transmission-and-distribution/current-projects/southwest-calgary-ring-road and you should be receiving notifications directly from ENMAX in the near future.
