Ward 11 News: Elbow River pedestrian bridges replacement update May 2014

  • Share

Ward 11 official website

Construction activities have begun around the former pedestrian bridge locations along the Elbow River. Construction will begin to move quickly over the coming weeks and months, as we are trying to have the bridges completed for use by the end of December.

You will notice that the construction site has been fenced, for the safety of those working on the site and those who will be using the green spaces that have been left open to the public. For your safety, please do not enter the construction site. There will also be a lot of large trucks and heavy equipment travelling on the residential roads throughout the construction process, so please keep an eye on the project website for regular construction updates, temporary road closures and detours.

If you’d like to see what the bridges will look like when they are complete, the finalized renderings of the bridge designs are now available online.
