Ward 11 News: Property Assessments on Flood Impacted Homes

Ward 11 official website

City Hall and the Municipal Building.
Some properties in Calgary were affected by our June 2013 flood. As a result, Assessment used aerial imaging, property owner communication and visual inspections to determine the state of homes that they believed were impacted by the flood. They have used this information to determine that 1,939 of the 450,314 residential properties in Calgary required an adjustment to their assessment due to the flood.

If your property was affected by the flood and you have questions about your assessment, Assessment has put together a Frequently Asked Questions webpage to provide some basic information. If you still have questions after reviewing the information, I recommend that you contact Assessment before the end of the Customer Review Period to discuss your concerns. They can be reached by calling 403-268-2888.
