About the Southwest Calgary Ring Road (SWCRR) Construction
The Government of Alberta
awarded Mountain View Partners with the contract to design, build, operate and
partially finance the Southwest Calgary Ring Road (SWCRR). Mountain View
Partners has subcontracted KGL Constructors to design and construct the SWCRR. Preliminary
construction work began in fall 2016 and major construction within the
Transportation Utility Corridor will begin in spring 2017. For more information

What is going on in Ward 11?
Attend an Information Session on Thursday, May 25, 2017
The City will hold an information session on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm at the Southland Leisure Centre (please note the location change from the Oakridge Community Centre).
The City will provide updates on the two Calgary-led ring road projects in the area:
- 90 Avenue SW and Southland Drive connections
- Anderson Road SW widening
Representatives from Alberta Transportation and KGL Contractors will also be present to answer any questions related to the SWCRR.
