Ward 3 News: October 3rd Public Hearing - Presenting to Council

The Harvest Hills Golf Course Land-use Amendment and Outline Plan application will be coming to Council Monday, October 3, 2016.  There are several ways to provide comments on the application.

Any person wishing to submit a letter, petition or other communication concerning the application may do so provided they are printed, typewritten or legibly written. Only those submissions received by the City Clerk not later than 10:00 a.m., THURSDAY, 2016 September 22, will be included in the Agenda of Council. Late submissions will not be accepted in the City Clerk’s Office.  Submissions must be addressed to:  Office of the City Clerk, The City of Calgary, 700 Macleod Trail SE, P.O. Box 2100, Postal Station “M”, Calgary, Alberta T2P 2M5.  Submissions may be hand delivered, mailed, faxed to 403-268-2362, or emailed to

Members of the public are also welcome to attend the public hearing and are permitted to speak directly to Council on the application.  Speakers are given 5 minutes (exclusive of question and answer time).  If you require audio visual equipment, please contact the City Clerk's Administration Manager at 403-268-5861 for detailed information on the types of equipment available, and for testing your presentation prior to the meeting.  For rules of protocol when speaking at council or committee, please see Communicating with City Council and its Committees.
