Once every four years, City Council deliberates Calgary’s long-range plans, budgets and tax rates. The City of Calgary develops its business plans and budgets in four-year cycles in order to set clear priorities for our City and deliver services that are efficient, accountable and meaningful to citizens.
Your input is an important part of this process. In March 2014, The City of Calgary is reaching out to have a big conversation about building a great city.
We want to know: What do you value about our city? What will make Calgary a great place for future generations? What do you want more of? What do you want less of?
Take action, it’s your plan: March 2014 is your chance to shape the future. Visit www.calgary.ca/actionplan more information.
Nominate your Snow Angels
Keeping walks clear can be very challenging – even dangerous – for older adults and others who have limited mobility. It doesn’t take much time to be a Snow Angel. When shovelling your own sidewalks and driveway, take a couple of extra minutes to clear your neighbour's sidewalks as well.
If you have been helped by a Snow Angel this winter, please share your story. Call 3-1-1 to nominate your Snow Angel. They will be officially recognized by The City of Calgary and entered in a prize draw.
