Calgary Transit reviews transit routes and schedules quarterly to make adjustments based on a number of factors including feedback from our customers and drivers, ridership levels and changing traffic patterns.  These adjustments are made to help improve service across the city, increase reliability and ensure the best value for the service we provide. Spring 2016 changes come into effect on March 7.

Some Ward 5 routes affected by these adjustments include:

Route 32 - Huntington / Sunridge Route has been revised in the Deerfoot Industrial area of 11 Street N.E. to provide new service to Deerfoot South Industrial area.

Route 21 - Castleridge The bus will no longer wait (to keep on schedule) at Falshire Drive west and 68 Street N.E.

Route 23 - Foothills Industrial Times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence.

Route 25 - Whitehorn Service frequency has been adjusted to every 18 minutes, and times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence during morning and afternoon peak times. The bus will no longer wait (to keep on schedule) at Laguna Way and Catalina Blvd or at Temple Drive and 43 Street N.E.

Route 34 - Pineridge Times have been adjusted to improve schedule adherence.
The bus will no longer wait (to keep on schedule) at 26 Avenue and Rundlehorn Drive or at 22 Avenue and 68 Street N.E.

Route 38 - Temple The bus will no longer wait (to keep on schedule) at Laguna Way and Catalina Blvd or at Temple Drive and 43 Street N.E.

Route 48 - Rundle Morning and evening service times have been improved from every 18 to 19 minutes to every 14 minutes. The bus will no longer wait (to keep on schedule) at 26 Avenue and Rundlehorn Drive or at California Blvd and 68 Street N.E.

Route 55 - Falconridge The bus will no longer wait (to keep on schedule) at Coral Springs Blvd and Coral Keys Drive.

Route 85 - Martin Crossing To improve schedule adherence, service frequency has been adjusted to every 20 minutes during peak times and every 35 minutes during off-peak and evening times.
