Chief Constable Chaffin from the Calgary Police Service
Chief Chaffin

Roger Chaffin joined the Calgary Police Service in 1986 and assumed the role of Chief Constable on October 19, 2015. In 2015, Chief Constable Chaffin was also appointed to the Order of Merit for Police Forces, one of the country’s most important honours. This achievement recognized the many years of service and leadership he has dedicated to the Calgary Police Service on behalf of the citizens of Calgary. He has also received the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal, Federal Exemplary Service Medal, Alberta Law Enforcement Long Service Medal, Calgary Police Service Distinguished Service Medal and Calgary Police Service Chief’s Award of Excellence.

We're excited to confirm that Bylaw dog Flower will be coming back to the Ward 6 Open House this year!

Flower has just received her classification as an Obedience Dog, here is a photo of her from the ribbon ceremony. You can meet her and congratulate her in person on May 3. Hope to see you there!
