The City is committed to informing the public about seasonal high water conditions. Throughout spring and summer, expect regular updates about corporate flood preparations, water issues relative to our climate, as well as tree replanting programs. Visit calgary.ca/floodinfo to understand how weather impacts flood conditions, prepare for climate disasters, and stay informed on weather conditions. You can also sign up to receive flood information right to your inbox. 

Stay informed with up-to-the-minute news about Alberta’s rivers; including flood advisories and comments issued by Alberta’s River Forecast Centre with The Alberta Government’s mobile app (for Android and iPhone). This app provides all government authorized critical, informational, and test alerts related to emergency situations throughout Alberta. 
 

Are you concerned about strong winds that can produce dry environments resulting in high fire risk? Stay informed about wildfires in Alberta with the Alberta Government wildfire app, which offers up-to-date information on wildfire hazards and conditions.
