Ward 6 News: Free Dog Recall Training Event

Ward 6 official websiteDid you know that in order to use one of Calgary's 150 off-leash areas, your dog must be able to respond to sight and sound commands?

The Off-Leash Ambassador program offers training sessions to teach you how to successfully recall your dog when needed. Learn more about your responsibilities as a dog owner.

Remaining event in 2015 has been scheduled in the following off-leash park:

Saturday, October 17, 2015 Falconridge. Submit your entry by Tuesday, September 30, 2015 for a spot.
Volunteers are also desired to participate in the Off-Leash Ambassador program.
 
The pilot project began in the Egerts and Bowmont Parks off-leash areas. We are now expanding to all quadrants of the city and need ambassadors city-wide. For detailed information about all of these initiatives, please visit calgary.ca, Off-Leash Ambassador program.
