One of the most enoyable part of my job as your elected representative is spending time out in the community getting to know the people I serve. Please do not hesitate to come over and say hello next time you see me out in the community, at an event or riding transit.
Summer 2012 was a busy time in Calgary and your Ward 6 team spent a great deal of time getting to know the constituents we serve attending various events around the Ward and around the city. The 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede was an exciting time and my staff and I had a really great time attending breakfasts and BBQs and wearing jeans for 10 days.
As winter closes in around us, it is always nice to remember the fun we had in summer and to look forward to enjoying many winter activities. Below are photos from various community events that we attended this summer. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.
