The City of Calgary is looking to residents of Calgary to fill vacancies on various Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs). As the Chair of Audit Committee, I can firsthand attest that the opportunity to actively provide input into The City’s decision making process is both interesting and rewarding.
There are currently 18 BCCs recruiting for new Public Members, seeking individuals with an interest in the work of the Boards, Commissions and Committees and a desire to give back to the community. Although some positions have specific eligibility requirements, most Public Member positions require only your enthusiasm, interest and commitment.
If you are interested, visit www.calgary.ca/cityclerks for further details and to access the online application form. The deadline for receipt of applications is Thursday, June 30, 2016.
