The Federation of Calgary Communities (FCC) provides workshops geared towards helping community association volunteers and the general public learn valuable information about crime prevention and safety issues in their neighbourhoods from our trusted partners the Calgary Police Service.

Partners in Crime Prevention Workshop: Seniors Safety Session 

Join FCC and Cst. Glenn Rowley from the Crime Prevention Unit at the Calgary Police Service for a presentation that will focus on elder abuse, online safety and common scams.  Learn what resources are available to communities and how the Calgary Police Service responds to these issues. Partners in Crime Prevention Workshop: Personal Safety 

Join FCC and Ruth Steele from the Calgary Police Service Crime Prevention Unit for a presentation around personal safety when spending time in your community.  This presentation will encourage you to think about how to reduce the risk of being attacked and about being observant of your surroundings at all times. Learn about the Crime Triangle—desire, ability and opportunity.
