Glenmore Trail & Sarcee Trail Interchange
The completion of the Southwest Calgary Ring Road (SWCRR) from 69 Street SW to Macleod Trail/Highway 2A requires the relocation of ENMAX infrastructure that is directly impacted by the road construction. The Government of Alberta is working with ENMAX to help with their planning and design processes for relocation.
Alberta Transportation has started planning for the construction of the SW portion of the Calgary Ring Road. The completion of the SWCRR requires the relocation of several utilities.
The road design for the Glenmore Trail & Sarcee Trail Interchange conflicts with existing transmission infrastructure. Alberta Transportation has requested ENMAX to relocate its transmission lines away from the road alignment by partially moving them underground. The information can also be found on www.enmax.com/ringroad
. You can also find information on the Southwest Calgary Ring Road project at www.sw-crr.ca.
