On January 3, 2013, The City mailed out your 2013 Property and Business Assessment Notices. The mailing is followed by a Customer Review Period, during which time you are asked to review your assessment and, if necessary, inquire with the Assessment business unit regarding any discrepancies. The Customer Review Period continues until March 4, 2013. The assessed values provide the basis on which your 2013 property taxes will be calculated. Your 2013 tax bill will be mailed separately at a later date.
Changes to a customer’s 2013 property and/or business assessment will only be considered if an inquiry is received during the 2013 Customer Review Period. Information changes brought forward to the Assessment business unit after the 2013 Customer Review Period will be considered for the 2014 assessment values.
