Ward 6 News: Public engagement - Continue the Conversation

Public engagement is essential for developing and shaping successful communities. In a city of over one million busy people, this process is not always as easy and as effective as it could be. This is why The City of Calgary is rethinking how we engage citizens.

On Monday, October 1, The City launched Continue the Conversation – a public engagement initiative to collect information about citizens' engagement preferences. Calgarians are being asked to engage with The City by filling out a survey, participating in a live chat or tweet chat, leaving feedback on a discussion forum, or contacting 311 to leave a comment. Feedback collected through the engagement review will be used to determine what can be improved and how, and to support the development and implementation of those improvements.
