Career Fairs

As most organizations run a closed career fair, the majority of events co-ordinators choose not to advertise their fairs publicly.

What should you bring to a career fair as a civilian looking to get hired in a sworn role?

Applicants need only bring themselves. As we do not accept applications at the career fairs, we will provide the applicant with the information relative to how to begin the application process and obtain an application.

What information services are available to people who want to join CPS as a sworn member?

The CPS offers information sessions, one-on-one meetings, large group lectures, career fairs and other events to assist applicants in their pursuit of a policing career.

How do I arrange to have CPS attend a career fair / event that I’m hosting?

In order to have the CPS Recruiting Unit attend an event, please contact the outreach officers at:

What positions are available at a career fair?

We hire for sworn police officers to perform law enforcement duties.
