South Glenmore Park
South Glenmore Park in Calgary's southwest is the area surrounding the south side of the Glenmore Reservoir which includes the Weaselhead Natural Area and has numerous trails and pathways, tennis courts, playgrounds and the Variety Spray Park.
About the park
South Glenmore Park is home to the Variety Children's Park, an inclusive playground and water park. South Glenmore also houses the Glenmore Sailing School.
The Quinterra Legacy Garden Project opened in 2020. It is a musical garden, complete with new trees and vegetation, green spaces, a small community multiuse stage and outdoor instruments near the existing Variety Park location.
Caragana removal is occurring in South Glenmore Park to increase the biodiversity of existing native tree stands.

South Glenmore Park offers such features as a bicycle pump track, spray park, tennis courts, polo field, sailing school, boat rentals, cross-country skiing, hiking trails and playgrounds.

Calgary Recreation facilitates the bookings of open public park spaces for various outdoor activities, including weddings, fundraising events, performances walks/runs, etc.
