Downtown Safety Leadership Table
The Downtown Safety Leadership Table was established to bring downtown leaders together to address safety challenges and support a vibrant downtown. In 2024, the Table released 28 recommendations aimed at improving safety, wellbeing and public confidence downtown. The Table disbanded in March 2024, but their recommendations continue to shape current community safety and wellbeing programs and initiatives across The City.

Continuing the work
The Downtown Safety Leadership Table helped build partnerships and identify actions to improve safety in Calgary's downtown. This work now continues through Safer Together, Calgary's citywide community safety and wellbeing plan.
