Come play Canada's favorite winter past time!
The City of Calgary Recreation provides a variety of recreational ice hockey and ball hockey programs during the fall, winter, and spring months at a number of arenas throughout The City.
The City's 14 Arenas provide ice surfaces for many of Calgary's hockey, and shinny leagues. See our rentals and bookings section.
The City of Calgary Recreation also offers programs that are designed to introduce participants to skating and hockey fundamentals and are offered to all age groups and skill levels.
Some City of Calgary programs are aimed at both children and parents, providing opportunities to assist and participate with your children. Other programs work on a combination of skill development drills and scrimmage play. Hockey - Introduction for Women is also offered for gals who want to play Canada's favorite game.
