Lawn Bowls is a sport for all ages, 8-90. The rules are like curling only it is played on grass. It is a very healthy, inexpensive and very social sport, and endorsed by the Heart and Stroke foundation. Lawn Bowling has a programs that run during the daytime and evenings. Although there are some leagues, it is mostly just a drop-in sport where you can come and enjoy the time out in the fresh air.

Did you know? Lawn bowls is played on grass and variations from green to green are common. Greens come in all shapes and sizes, fast, slow, big crown, small crown etc. An indoor variation on carpet is also played.
