System Access Tips and Application Performance Hints
Listed below are some hints and tips to follow for a successful online resume and application:
1. If you are viewing the PeopleSoft Application page, please Refresh your screen. You should be viewing the Applicant Home page.
2. Check your browser version. The following browsers are the minimum releases which are supported:
- Netscape Communicator 4.7
- Netscape Navigator 7
- MS Internet Explorer 5
- FireFox
If you wish to update your browser you can visit either of the following websites:
3. Delete Browser Cache:
Go to (Microsoft): Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Delete Files.
Select OK.
A pop up window appears - check delete line content and select OK
-or-
Go to (Netscape 7.1): Edit menu > Preferences > under Advanced category, click "Cache" (If no subcategories are visible, double-click Advanced to expand the list) > click "Clear Cache"

4. Delete Cookies: (Microsoft XP)
Go to: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Delete Cookies.
Select OK.
A pop up window appears - select OK
5. Verify Your Settings:
You may need to disable or modify your settings for the following in order to accommodate the online application:
- Internet Filtering and Monitoring Software
- Personal Firewall
You may need to modify:
- Privacy Setting (Medium to High)

Sign in Tips
New registrant
From the Identification page, make sure you click on the hyperlink: Are you a new applicant? Click here to register.
This will allow you to enter your email address and confirm your password. Make sure to use a password that is less than 12 characters.
Need an e-mail address?
There are a number of sites on the internet that provide access to e-mail accounts, free of charge (for example: Yahoo
or Hotmail
).
Returning Applicant - Helpful hints
- Check your spelling
- Did you change your password?
- Click "I Forgot My Password Hyperlink". The system will generate and send you a new random password.
