Calgary's Low Carbon Future Framework
(178 KB) is intended to be a call to action for all Calgarians and a reference to examine when considering strategic direction, business plans or individual initiatives.
Since the Summit, The City's Community Energy Initiative Team: Reducing Calgary's EcoFootprint (CEI) in the Environmental and Safety Management (ESM) group has been working with a variety of partners to collate the results from the process:
- Alberta Culture & Community Spirit
- This Alberta provincial government ministry provides a broad range of programs that support a high quality of life and are valued by Albertans.
- Members of the Low Carbon Future Advisory Group
(34 KB) - A number of participants expressed interest to serve in an Advisory Group for this process. These individuals are broadly representative of the Calgary community from business, government, institutions and the public.
- Member cities of the World Energy Cities Partnership
- The World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP) is a collaboration of 15 "energy cities" around the world. City membership of the WECP encourages the exchange of energy industry knowledge and economic and infrastructure development strategies.
- Other local, national and international advisor cities and individuals.
