Welcome to the Calgary Transportation Plan Update.
We are pleased to present a dynamic, highly visual, voice assisted presentation of transportation planning in Calgary.
In 1995, the Calgary Transportation Plan was approved by Council. The plan addresses many issues including road and transit infrastructure, land use and housing density, walking and cycling networks, impacts on our communities and the environment and cost.
Ten years later, we have completed a major review to determine what happened – compared to what we thought would happen. A better understanding of key transportation-related findings will help us all in the development of future transportation policy.
The presentation allows you to move to any point in the presentation and select the transportation topics of greatest interest to you. The time required to view the presentation is approximately 45 minutes.
