The City of Calgary's 14 Arenas are available to the public for a variety of skating activities. Join us for a fun family skate, public skating, hockey, ringette or figure skating. The City's arenas are conveniently located... close to home.
The City of Calgary Recreation also provides a variety of Learn to Skate programs for individuals and schools during the fall, winter, and spring. Programs are designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals and are offered by age group and skill level.
Learn to Skate programs are offered at a variety of City of Calgary Recreation Arenas including Southland and Village Square Leisure Centre.

Helmets are required
as of September 2009 for children and youth 18 years and under. Helmets must be CSA approved.
