Please note: We are working to improve access so that everyone feels like they belong and can use our services. Access is worked on during the planning, design and construction of projects. While much has been accomplished, it is acknowledged that more remains to be done to improve access. Not all parts of the facility may be "accessible for all". So ONLY the areas of the building that are barrier-free are listed on this webpage. See the detailed description to know whether your access needs will be met before you go.

Parking

  • No designated accessible parking spaces – parking lot has paved surface; but no painted stalls

Entrance

  • West entrance is at ground level (no stairs)
  • Push plate/button opens door at West entry

Washrooms

  • Female washroom – barrier-free stall
    • L-shaped entry, doorway width is 720 mm
    • centre line of toilet is positioned too far from side wall
  • Male washroom – barrier-free stall
    • L-shaped entry, doorway width is 720 mm
    • centre line of toilet is positioned too close to side wall

  • 1 floor/level in facility
  • Barrier-free path of travel through corridor to:
    • Visual Arts Studio Room I, II & III
      • No power operated door
    • Ceramics Studio
      • No power operated door
    • Performing Arts Studio (Dance & Drama)

Access Feature

Accessible pottery wheel​

Wildflower has an accessible pottery wheel which allows persons in wheelchairs or those preferring to stand at the wheel, to take part in our seasonal potter’s wheel courses.​
