Flanders Crowchild Public Art

Canada Lands Company Limited (CLC) in consultation with The City of Calgary Public Art program have contracted Canadian artist Luke Blackstone for the development and execution of a permanent public art project in or around the interchange at Flanders Avenue and Crowchild Trail.

The all-inclusive budget for this project is $175,000, and is intended to be installed by late 2018. This project belongs to CLC, however,The City will eventually own the artwork by accepting it into the Public Art Collection.

CLC will have community and stakeholder engagement with Luke Blackstone in March 2018 to inform the development of the artwork.
