2019 Youth Photography Contest

As part of the Mayor's Environment Expo, the photography contest encourages students to consider the environmental community that surrounds them and to take action to protect it.

If you are a student in grades 5 to 12, grab your camera and capture your community, classroom or neighbourhood. Then enter your best shot into one of the following categories:

  1. Through a Climate Lens
  2. Environmental Adaptation
  3. Impacts of Climate Change
  4. Resilience

The contest is now closed. Thank you for your submissions.

Winners will be recognized at a reception on May 23, 2019. Winning photos will be featured on The City of Calgary's Instagram account and will be displayed during the Mayor's Environment Expo from June 4 - 6.
