Basic Signs (Class A)
A basic sign located on private property that does not usually require a permit if it meets Land Use Bylaw rules
Fascia Signs (Class B)
A sign attached to the exterior wall of a building, with its face parallel to the building wall and not projecting more than 0.4 meters from the building.
Canopy & Projecting Signs (Class D)
A sign attached perpendicularly to the exterior wall of a building, or displayed on, attached to, or under a canopy, awning or marquee on the exterior wall of a building.
Digital Message & Other Signs (Class E)
A sign that is digital, flashing, or animated and non-digital message signs that can be changed on a frequent basis.
Third Party Advertising Signs (Class F)
A sign that directs attention to a business or service that is located elsewhere than on the site where the sign is located, and is not a digital display.
Digital Third Party Advertising Signs (Class G)
A digital display sign that directs attention to a business or service that is located elsewhere than on the site where the sign is located.
