Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 One City Awards

From February 1 to March 1, City employees are encouraged to submit nominations for the 2018 One City Awards.

The City proudly launched the One City Awards in 2017 to recognize the outstanding work we do to make life better every day for Calgarians and for each other. The awards are open to all City employees—any employee can nominate another, and any employee or team can be nominated—and we want to highlight anyone who has made a positive difference in the work we do.

How to submit your nomination:

New this year is the online nomination submission tool available through myHRconnect. Follow these easy steps to create your nomination and submit it:

  1. Download and review the nomination guide to assist you in writing your submission.
  2. Once your submission is complete, visit myHRconnect
  3. Click on the myCareer tab.
  4. Go to the Corporate Recognition bar and click on the One City Awards Nomination link.
  5. From there, follow the prompts to upload your nomination and hit submit.

Nominations are being accepted until March 1. A celebration event will be held in June to announce the winners.

We look forward to receiving your nominations!

Thank you for a successful 2017 One City Awards
Across the corporate, employees embraced the first ever One City Awards and submitted 275 nominations. We held a celebration event to announce the winners on March 15, 2018. You can read more about the 2017 nominations we received and who won.
