Accountability

Since Mayor Nenshi was first elected in 2010, he has worked to strengthen accountability, disclosure, and ethics rules for City Council. The results include the creation of an Integrity and Ethics Office, a strengthened whistle-blower program, and clear policies that require the disclosure of gifts, meetings, and office expenses.

Mayor Nenshi has been sharing this information even before there were specific policies in place.
