Sailing camps - Glenmore Sailing School
How to choose the right day camp
Beginners under 100 lb enter the sailing program at Wet Feet 7-8 yrs and Wet feet 9 plus. Beginners over 100 pounds start in CANSail 1. From there, students move through the levels based upon their individual skill development and instructor recommendation.
Children age of 11 and/or under 100 pounds sail Optimists, in summer camp. After the Opti program, the boat class is determined by CANSail level. CANSail 1 and 2 use the 420s. CANSail 3 and 4 sail either Laser or race-rigged 420.
