Your child will grow and develop through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that emphasize social, physical, intellectual and emotional development with the guidance of qualified and experienced instructors.

Experience the many different aspects of Village Square Leisure Centre while taking part in our activity-based program. Children will love taking advantage of our indoor jungle gym play structure, playing games in the gymnasium, exploring their creativity through art, and occasionally spending time in the kiddie pool or ice skating in our arenas.
Getting your child ready for success
Children will prepare for kindergarten through a variety of meaningful play opportunities. Our program encourages creativity, cooperation and fun, helping them build self-confidence, identity and independence.
A day in our program at Village Square Leisure Centre
A typical day in our preschool program includes free play, circle time, art/science time, physical activity time and snack time.
Prerequisites
Children must be at least two and a half years of age prior to December 31, 2022. These are not parented programs.
Children two and a half are not required to be toilet trained. Children three and up must be toilet trained.

Register for preschool — 2022-2023
Our 2022 program runs from Sept. 2022 – June 2023.
Registration begins March 1, 2022 and is ongoing until April 2023.

Fees are based on the number of classes. Those registering for a partial year will be charged a pro-rated fee based on the remaining number of classes.
Payment options
Payment can be made as a lump sum or monthly. Payment can be made using cash, cheque or credit card. Monthly payments require a credit card on file and a one-month deposit upon registration.
Safety and supervision
The safety of our preschoolers is our top priority. Staff supervision and instruction are provided in all programs.
Our staff are selected based on experience, leadership skills and their ability to relate to children. Staff are Standard First Aid and CPR certified and are trained in the High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development.
Children with disabilities are welcome
Our programs welcome children with disabilities. Please make us aware of any disabilities or behavioural needs during registration. It's the parent's responsibility to find an aid for children with disabilities.
