What we heard
You’ve given us positive feedback about online ballot options and advance voting opportunities such as the Vote Bus and Drive Through voting. We can improve on administration of the election and the timely publication of election results, and have done Business Process Reviews to identify and correct issues to better serve you. Specific feedback was also received from voters to lack of accessibility at some voting locations.
Council direction
Council has directed that elections must be fair, transparent, effective and efficient for all Calgarians. We’re working to ensure our processes, policies and practices for elections deliver value for the investment you give us. Accessibility, ease of voting, advance ballot opportunities and improved voting process and results are areas we’re working on improving.
