Calgary Transit

As with all areas of The City of Calgary, Calgary Transit is experiencing staffing impacts as a result of the rapidly-spreading COVID/Omicron variant. Slight adjustments to service were made on Monday, January 10 to reduce impacts to service due to Operator absenteeism. Impacts to the customer experience were minimal as only a few trips on some routes were changed/removed. This week, absenteeism due to COVID/Omicron continues to trend upward so Calgary Transit is preparing for additional service changes on Monday, January 17.

All customer information tools (website, social media, and app) will be kept up-to-date so anyone using Transit services can access information quickly and plan their trip accordingly. Customers will be directed to the website at Calgarytransit.com/service-updates and to use the trip planning/schedule tool on the website before they head out even if they are regular Transit users.

Customers who are unable to use online tools can contact the Call Centre at 403-262-1000 to speak with a customer service agent for support on trip planning or schedule information.
