COVID-19: Support for non-profit social service organizations
COVID-19 relief funding support
On May 11, 2020, City Council approved $8 million in enhanced funding from the Emergency Resiliency Fund (ERF) for programs and services of Calgary non-profit social service organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The ERF will be implemented in two phases:
Phase I - Complete. Applications that were submitted to the Social Services Support for COVID-19 or the COVID-19 Community Response Fund and were not successful, or only received partial funding due to limited resources, were reviewed and assessed for funding in this phase. Confirmation letters have been sent to successful applicants with further details.
Phase II - Complete. Applications for phase II of ERF are now closed. All applicants will be notified of the results of their application by early August.
