Disaster Alley is a free event for all ages, join us to learn some simple steps to prepare yourself for emergencies such as floods, power outages and severe weather events.

Meet real-life heroes, including the Calgary Fire Department, Calgary Search and Rescue Association (CALSARA), HAWCS, and more than 40 exhibitors who provide assistance in emergencies and disasters. Explore specialized emergency response equipment and learn how to prepare a 72-hour emergency kit for your home. Don't miss Calgary's largest emergency preparedness event.

Disaster Alley occurs during Emergency Preparedness Week – a national event in May that aims to build a culture of preparedness in Canada. The event is coordinated by Public Safety Canada, in close collaboration with the provinces, territories and partners.
