This is achieved by partnering with local non-profit organizations to deliver preventive social service programs to Calgarians. Funding is provided through a number of funding streams, which are detailed below.

FCSS is a joint municipal-provincial funding program designed to establish, administer and operate preventive social services.

The City of Calgary is convening community partners to develop a mental health and addiction strategy.

The Community Safety Investment Framework is a collaborative effort between Calgary Police Service, The City and community partners to identify ways to improve support for Calgarians in crisis due to mental health concerns, addictions or other similar challenges.
