Cancelling a continuous monthly pass

Continuous monthly passes automatically continue from month to month (year to year) until customer submits a cancellation request.

Cancellation requests must be made by emailing liveandplay@calgary.ca (provide your name, phone number and additional passholders (if applicable)). The cancellation is effective the day of request (no future cancellations). There is no refund of the initial payment if the pass is cancelled within the initial month of purchase.

Passes cancelled after the initial month will receive a prorated refund for the remaining days in that month and future scheduled payments will stop.

Example: If you cancelled after 25% of the month had passed you would receive a refund of 75% of the cost of the pass. Halfway through the month, you would receive a refund of 50%. 75% of the way through the month, you would receive a refund of 25% etc.

Cancelling a term pass

Cancellation requests must be made by emailing liveandplay@calgary.ca (provide your name, phone number and additional passholders (if applicable)).

Cancellations of term passes (1-month and 12-month) will receive a prorated refund based on number of days/months remaining.

Example: If you cancelled after 25% of the term had passed you would receive a refund of 75% of the cost for the term. Halfway through the term, you would receive a refund of 50%. 75% of the way through the term, you would receive a refund of 25% etc.

The City of Calgary reserves the right to revoke any passes and/or privileges associated with the pass in the event of non-compliance with Calgary Recreation facility rules and regulations, inappropriate/abusive behavior, or missed payments (if applicable).
