Housing-Grade Orient District

We are accepting applications for Housing-Grade-Oriented. This will require you to complete a Land Use Redesignation and work with the File Manager if this district is appropriate for the proposed land use change. Date Importance
November 17, 2022 Earliest Calgary Planning Commission (CPC) meeting that H-GO applications can presented at (in preparation for combined meeting of Council once H-GO is in force).   This includes both new H-GO applications, and Direct Control applications transferring to H-GO.
January 2, 2023 New bylaw in force. First day applications can be approved.

Residential – Grade-Oriented Infill (R-CG and R-CGex) District

Read the unofficial draft of the amended Residential – Grade-Oriented Infill (R-CG) district.

The changes to this district make it easier to develop mid-block parcels into townhouses and rowhouses. We are accepting applications for Development Permits for R-CG parcels. This will require you to complete a Development Permit application and work with the File Manager.
