Calgary Film Centre
Calgary Film Centre Overview
The Calgary Film Centre is one of the premiere film production facilities in North America and plays a key role in supporting the film industry’s growth in Canada by serving as a centre of excellence for creative industries and digital media.
Recent enhancements to the province’s film production tax incentives matched with a diverse and striking Alberta landscape, existing world-class film infrastructure and access to quality film production crews ensures that the CFC is well-positioned to benefit from the growing Canadian film industry and the demand for high quality, purpose-built film production space.
Investment Opportunity for Qualified Applicants
The acquisition of this unique facility would provide a prospective purchaser with the opportunity to own the premier purpose-built film production studio at the epicentre of the Alberta and Canadian film industry. The investment opportunity includes a five-acre parcel of vacant land adjacent to the Film Centre, which can be used for expansion purposes or for future ancillary requirements. There would be an ability for potential purchasers to improve profit margins through increases in studio rental rates, income from equipment rentals and other ancillary services, operating synergies, and potential build out of additional soundstages.
