Calgary Awards

Calgary Awards

In 1994, The City of Calgary established the Calgary Awards to celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements and contributions made by Calgarians. Each year, individuals, corporations, community groups, schools, and organizations are nominated in five major award categories, for a total of 17 awards.

The City of Calgary encourages all Calgarians to look to their neighbours, colleagues, community leaders, and local organizations and businesses for those who could qualify as recipients of the Calgary Awards.

The 2012 Calgary Awards

Thank you to all of the nominators who submitted a nomination for a Calgary Award this year!
We received over 100 nominations and would like to thank nominators for the time they took to submit a nomination to recognize citizens who help to make Calgary the vibrant community it is.

We are presently contacting the successful award recipients and will update our website by mid-June.

The Calgary Awards are one of the largest citizen recognition programs in our city, for a total of 17 awards in five major categories. The City of Calgary proudly celebrates achievements and contributions made by Calgarians.
