Bridlewood Affordable Housing Development

Project Background

With one in five Calgary households struggling to pay for housing costs, this development is part of The City's direction to ensure that low-income Calgarians have a safe, stable place to call home in all neighbourhoods across the city.

In 2018, surplus City land at 2375 162 Ave S.W. in Bridlewood was allocated to Calgary Housing with a mandate to build new affordable housing.

Location

The new homes will be built on City-owned land at 2375 162 Ave. S.W. The land was previously used for a temporary fire station and is currently unoccupied.

Communication

The City of Calgary will communicate with the public and impacted businesses about the design and construction of the new homes on an ongoing basis.

For updates on this project, please continue to check this page or call 311.
