  • School Resource Officer

    ​Calgary Police Service members placed in schools and who generally possesses a background working with youth and community-based programs. The officers provide a visible and positive image of law enforcement and act as mentors.

  • Diversity Resource Team

    ​Fosters awareness and understanding between the Calgary Police Service and our diverse communities.

  • Persons with disabilities

    Community liaison​ builds relationships between police, persons with disabilities, and organizations that provide service to persons with disabilities. The liaison officer serves as a resource on cases that involve persons with disabilities and works with the Persons with Disabilities Police Advisory Committee.

  • Victim Assistance Support Team

    ​The Calgary Police Service Victim Assistance Support Team (VAST) promotes and advocates the rights and entitlements of victims of crime and trauma. VAST provides assistance to both primary victims (persons who have experienced direct injury, loss or trauma) and secondary victims (those who are impacted by the repercussion of a crime or trauma including witnesses, friends, family and co-workers.)

  • Volunteer Resource Team

    ​Volunteer opportunities are available with the community police stations, district offices, Victim Assistance Team, and YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre.

  • Vulnerable Persons Team

    ​Coordinates with homelessness and addiction-serving agencies to meet the needs of vulnerable people in our city. As well, they work with mental health professionals to assist with the mental health issues of those who are in contact with the law.
