About our school programs

The City’s school programs are available to school children from preschool to Grade 12 and are primarily environmental educational in nature.

Programs range from short nature explorations of 45 minutes to full day educational programs which begin and end according to your schedule. Some programs and lessons are designed to deliver a specific topic to your students while others can be custom designed by you to fit your needs. Programs are offered at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, at any City of Calgary park, in your own natural area, or in your classroom.

Whatever your need or interest in the natural world, we will be able to provide you with an experience to thrill your students and help them to gain an appreciation and awareness of the natural world, while at the same time meeting the needs of the Alberta Learning curriculum.
