The City of Calgary Parks has over 10,000 hectares of parkland and nearly 800 Km of pathways available for you to enjoy. Take a walk in Nose Hill Park, let your dog run in one of the 150 off-leash areas, or simply sit and relax in one of the over 5,600 public park sites.

Tree recovery and restoration

We are currently in communities pruning Elm trees. Other trees that require pruning will be done at a later in the year.

Cameras installed at River Park, Sandy Beach and Britannia Slopes

Escalating incidents of park vandalism, destruction of construction equipment and supplies and abusive behaviour to City contractors and employees have prompted Corporate Security to install cameras to deter further damage.
