About Killarney Aquatic and Recreation Centre

The Killarney Aquatic and Recreation Centre has a number of features and amenities for you and your family to enjoy, including:

  • An indoor, 25-metre salt water swimming pool with six lanes. Depth ranges from 1.1 to 1.4 metres and temperature varies from 28.5 to 30 degrees Celsius.
  • A teach pool with a depth of 0.5 metres. Temperature is 32 degrees Celsius.
  • A dive pool with a 1-metre diving board. Depth ranges from 3 to 3.5 metres and temperature ranges from 28.5 to 29 degrees Celsius.
  • A salt water hot tub / whirlpool. Temperature varies from 39.5 to 40 degrees Celsius.
  • Steam room.
  • Spectator gallery.
  • Weight room and fitness studio – Note: private weight training available. 13-15 year olds will be permitted in the weight room only upon completion of the Youth Weight Training course.
  • Multi-purpose room rentals.
  • Special Needs change room.
  • Babysitting. All babysitters are certified with Standard First Aid and Basic Rescuer CPR training.
  • Accessibility - partial.
