- I see a camera at a specific intersection, but I don't see it when I look online. Why isn't the camera online?
Some cameras are used for enforcement rather than for traffic management purposes. The camera at the intersection may be a red light camera, or it may be a traffic camera that is down for maintenance. Cameras being used by the Traffic Management Centre to manage incidents such as collisions will be temporarily unavailable to the public.
- Where can I find out more about cameras used for enforcement?
Please visit the Speed on green and red light cameras page for information on cameras used for enforcement.
- I was involved in a traffic collision. Is there any way to view a recording of a traffic camera at a particular intersection?
No, the traffic camera footage is not recorded. The City of Calgary can provide traffic signal timing reports to show the operational status of a specific signal/intersection at a particular date/time. Please visit the Traffic Signal Timing Reports and Intersection Plans page for more information.
