The Ward Community Event Fund (WCEF) assists community associations or community-based groups hosting events or undertaking initiatives to enhance their community.
WCEF application process
The WCEF has an application and review process in place:
- Specific criteria, which can be found in the Ward Community Event Fund Guidelines, must be met before funding may be granted (up to $10,000 annually per ward).
- Fill out the
Ward Community Event Fund (WCEF) Application Form.
- Submit the WCEF Application Form to the Manager of the Office of the Councillors no less than 21 days prior to the event or initiative.
Funding decisions are made by the Co-ordinating Committee of the Councillors Office.
By accepting a grant the applicant agrees to the WCEF Conditions (outlined in the WCEF Application Form).
