Registration for spring & summer programs, classes and day camps:

Registration will open:
- 6 a.m. — Online (virtual waiting room opens at 5:30 a.m.).
- 8:30 a.m. — By calling the Customer Service Centre at 403-268-3800 (option 1).
- During business hours — At any City-operated Aquatic & Recreation or Arts facility.
Upcoming facility closures
Programs, classes and swimming lessons will not be offered at the following facilities while they undergo repairs:
- Bob Bahan Aquatic & Fitness Centre: closed this spring and summer.
- Canyon Meadows Aquatic & Fitness Centre: closed this summer.
- Sir Winston Churchill Aquatic & Recreation Centre: closed this summer.
Types of gymnastics classes

Tumble together! You and your child will be introduced to creative movement and basic gymnastic skills through games and activities. The child registered must attend the program with an adult who will actively participate with them.
Age: 2 - 3 years + Adult
Prerequisite: None

In this introduction to gymnastics, your child will engage in creative movement and learn fundamental gymnastic skills like rolling, jumping, landing, swinging and balancing.
Age: 3 - 4 years
Prerequisite: None

In this introductory program, children develop coordination and flexibility through creative movement and learn fundamental gymnastics skills like rolling, jumping, landing, swinging and balancing.
Age: 5 - 6 years
Prerequisite: None

In this class, your child will develop their coordination, balance and flexibility through creative movement and the practice of fundamental gymnastics skills.
Age: 10 - 12 years
Prerequisite: None
About our gymnastics instructors
Our instructors are enthusiastic, caring and knowledgable professionals. All staff are Certified National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) with SFA/CPR/AED Level C.
What are gymnastics classes like?
Our introductory classes are focussed on skill development with an emphasis on fun. Participants will practice gymnastics skills on floor, bars, beams, trampolines, and vault. Classes typically run 45 - 60 minutes.
A signed waiver form for each participant is required.
Come prepared
Leave jewelry at home and please bring:
- Gym apparel (must be zipper free)
- Shorts, tights or leotards
- T-shirt or form-fitting top
- Bare feet recommended (gym slippers are not mandatory)
- A water bottle
